Discover the Doux Valley
The Doux Valley offers a diversity of landscapes that are as picturesque as they are welcoming, between spectacular gorges, forests, pastures and orchards.
Located in the heart of the Green Ardèche, it stretches from the famous slopes of Tournon-sur-Rhône to the east, at the gates of the Monts d'Ardèche Regional Park, towards Saint-Agrève to the west, and the summits from Lalouvesc and Annonay in the North, to the sporty village of Saint-Félicien, in the South. It is from there that some 15,000 cyclists of the famous Ardéchoise race start in mid-June each year.
The tourist attractiveness of the Green Ardèche is based on a diversified natural and cultural heritage. With 750 km of marked trails to be traveled with family or athletes, a panoply of splendid landscapes in all seasons and generous orchards teeming with fruits, the Doux Valley with clear water is extended by spectacular gorges and bordered by the Train de l 'Ardèche, a tourist steam railway (the famous Mastrou).
The Green Ardèche is also a renowned animal park, the Safari de Peaugres, and tourism professionals who cultivate the tradition of a warm welcome.
